A long-standing relationship with money—and people

Amit has spent over fifteen years working with money, decisions, and human behaviour.

His early experience in retail banking helped him understand how people actually use money, worry about it, and talk about it in everyday life. This practical exposure later proved valuable as his work moved into the more analytical side of finance.

Over the next decade, Amit worked in equity research and investment analysis, supporting global investment teams across markets and cycles. His work involved building financial models, analysing companies and funds, and contributing to long-term investment thinking. It also meant looking beyond numbers—at incentives, judgement, and risk over time.

In his most recent corporate role, Amit led and grew an investment research team, working closely with international clients while managing people, quality, and complex assignments. This experience reinforced the importance of process, independent thinking, and staying disciplined when decisions are uncertain.

Alongside this professional journey, Amit had been helping friends and families think through their personal finances since 2015. Over time, he noticed that outcomes were shaped as much by behaviour and decision-making as by products or returns. In 2024, he chose to formalise this work and transitioned to it full-time, working with families and individuals on their paths toward financial freedom.

His combined experience now shapes the way FreedomArc approaches its work—with thoughtfulness, structure, and a long-term view.
